Design and development of an editorial landing page for a historical counter-investigation into one of Italy’s most controversial cold cases. Executed on behalf of a marketing agency, the project eschews aggressive sales tactics in favor of a credibility-driven user journey. By starting with objective facts and the official narrative, the structure guides the reader through documented inconsistencies and ballistic analysis, positioning the research as an essential tool for independent judgment.

The Goal:
The objective was to design a landing page for a series of investigative essays regarding a high-profile Italian political cold case. The communicative challenge was to flip the traditional sales funnel: rather than "persuading" the user, the goal was to provide an objective documentary path that transformed the reader into a critical judge. The ultimate aim was to validate a business model built on the authority and independence of historical research.

The Challenge:
The primary challenge was structuring highly sensitive content while avoiding any "conspiracy-theory" or biased tones. From a UX perspective, it was necessary to design a "step-by-step" narrative: starting with the shared historical facts, presenting the official version with full respect, and only then introducing documented inconsistencies. This required a perfect balance between austere design, information hierarchy, and establishing the author’s moral authority.

The Result
The result is an information architecture that leads the reader to a natural conclusion: "I may not agree yet, but I must read." This structure allowed the books to be presented not as standalone products, but as an essential, cohesive investigative journey, optimizing conversions for full bundles. The project is currently gathering qualified traffic data, confirming the effectiveness of a sales approach based on ethics and reader responsibility.
